You and/or your surgeon has chosen our practice to look after your anaesthetic/sedation care. Feel assured that you are in safe hands with us.

 

In order for us to provide a service exceeding expectations we need you to understand the process and to provide us with some information.

 

Please read the question/answer section and do not hesitate to contact our office for any enquiries.

 

We do however need you to complete our forms to ensure that we have all you medical information beforehand.

Question about your bill //

​​​​​Do we claim from Medical Aids?

 

Yes, we can claim on your behalf from most Medical Aids.

 

You will need to contact your medical aid and obtain an authorization number for the anaesthetic/sedation.

 

Without an authorization number, you will need to settle your account on the day of the procedure. 

 

How long will it take to get things settled with the Medical Aid?



Payment for each medical aids differ. Many pay within one month, but it may take longer.

 

If your account has not been settled in 30 days we will send you an sms to inform you.In such an event, you'll need to follow up with your Medical Aid.

 

Remember: we will claim on your behalf, but the account remains your responsibility.



 

Why am I getting bills from the Anaesthetist?

 

We will claim on your behalf from your medical aid, but untill the account has been settled - it stays your responsibility.

 

Sometimes you medical aid might not settle the full amount and you will then need to pay the differenc yourself.

 

Please speak to our office beforehand in regard to this.
